Business Holiday Cards Etiquette- When Professional Translation Is Necessary

  • Posted on March 31, 2017 at 4:06 pm

There are written rules and unwritten rules that go with sending holiday cards both nationally and internationally. Several rules overlap when it comes to common sense and basic manners. When it comes to sending off international holiday cards for businesses- when is it okay to trust in basic translation or when to hire a professional translator to write those very important messages?

One very important rule of thumb- purchasing pre-made holiday cards with a message in the foreign language already printed on the cards is most likely written and spelled correctly. You can order these cards online from multiple locations and feel good about what message you are sending out.

Basic Business Holiday Card Etiquette

Maybe the most important thing you can do is pay attention to traditions and religions. If you are unsure if your client celebrates Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or Christmas , send a Happy Holidays, Seasons Greetings or Winter Wishes
Make sure your list is up-to-date with correct names and addresses. If you do this on a regular basis. Not only will you save on postage by avoiding return to sender, you wont want to forget new clients that you will want to stay in contact.
Even though you may have 2000 holiday cards that you send out- be personal and sign each one. It makes a huge difference professionally and personally. Going a step further and writing a personal message can make the world of difference. Only make sure your message to foreign countries is properly translated.
Dont forget to include the staff or the spouse in the greeting portion of the card and always use proper titles.

All of these tips will ensure your dont embarrass your company as well theirs. To make sure your national and especially international cards are delivered in time, send them out early! Make a goal to have your cards out December 1st. When thinking if you should send anything besides a holiday-appropriate card, like sending chocolates, fruit cake or other edible packages, think about the shelf-life and how the food will be received. More than likely if you wanted to send smoked fish, tightly wrapped chocolates or canned nuts will always ensure that the food is fresh. Sending spoiled or stale food is much worse than not sending anything at all!

Canon 7d Review An Awesome Video Shooting Dslr

  • Posted on March 31, 2017 at 2:57 pm

The Canon 7D is a great camera with a slightly higher price tag above $1000. However with this price tag has many associated features that makes this camera an equipment any professional and amateur photographer will want to own.

The camera boasts of a faster burst rate where you can take a maximum of 8 frames per second this makes it easier for you to take action photographs and even cute photos of your baby or toddler in motion. Another feature worth mentioning in the Canon 7D is its dual image processors which let the camera handle better, faster and with more efficiency this camera has a better body construction made of magnesium alloy which is stronger than the lower models that come with a polycarbonate plastic body.

The view the camera offers through its viewfinder is 100% much better than the view offered by other cameras and once you pick it up you will definitely get impressed with its overall feel and it’s superior performance. While the APS-C sensor has always been the factor separating cameras from full-frame models, the Canon 7D has an APS-C sensor that’s similar to the 1D and 5D Mark III, making it comparable to full-frame models.

Through tests to this camera we as users find it difficult to find any faults with the image quality of this model becuase of the quality of the pictures, also unlike the full-frame models you can use the camera with any lens that has auto-focus capabilities.

Shooting video with this camera is one of the big pros because of its HD video shooting feature, it has a video manual exposure control with shutter speed and aperture control which results in clear and dynamic video, if you are worried about the sound well leave your worries behind because the Canon 7D comes with a built in mono microphone and a stereo jack for external microphone so you’ll get very professional results with a mid-range dslr camera.

One big drawback is that the viewfinder is not pivotal so when shooting video you cant tilt the viewfinder when you are shooting from above or below your height which is a thing that some other cameras of the same level offer. Talking about drawbacks we should mention the 18MP shy resolution, however it is hardly noticed to the untrained eye of the general public, even that of the expert at times.

So if you want to pursue photography as a hobby or passion, this is a camera you should and could start out with. The features the camera offer make it a piece of technological gear that overcome all expectations and as a result we have excellent photo and video performance.

Maori Education The Path to Our Future

  • Posted on March 31, 2017 at 2:40 pm

Figures recently released by the Ministry of Education show that there has been a steady growth in Maori tertiary enrolments. However, although there has been growth in enrolment figures, this growth has been attributed primarily to growth in attendance at Wananga and educational institutes that empower Maori to embrace not only the learning of their history and culture, but teach mainstream educational courses in a manner that appeals to the style and formality of the Maori culture itself.

However, the figures also indicate that Maori are less likely to enrol in tertiary education facilities during the core tertiary ages of 18 to 24. According to the University of Waikato, a number of factors have been identified as affecting the successful participation of Maori students in tertiary education. These include the transition and adaption to unfamiliar environments and learning procedures, inappropriate support systems, financial barriers and a lack of social and academic support. A number of studies have highlighted the high number of students who are first generation participants in tertiary education, for whom adjusting to the practices and rules of a new environment without the support of whanau (family) is difficult.

Nonetheless, the emerging signs and trends of increasing Maori participation in tertiary education institutes are encouraging. Further research into the role of Maori education has highlighted the need to tailor the learning style, experience and environment to suit the aspirations of the Maori culture and the value of the whanau.

According to a review of Maori education conducted by MAI in 2007, the further education of the individuals, both young and old, is essential for the continued development and future prosperity of Maori and the culture. With a better educated population base, the review proposes that Maori will be better able to determine their own futures and prosper, both economically and socially. Marginal educational records and enrolments affect the future prospects of the individual and the whanau. However, several initiatives are proving very successful in respect to enrolment and completion rate of Maori students. These include empowering Maori in the community to take on leading roles in education institutions, developing role models that young Maori aspire to replicate.

Leading tertiary providers in New Zealand have realised these facts and have created tertiary environments that not only cater for the general public, but provide specific learning styles, teachings and learning environments that are conducive to the continued promotion of Maori education. Those who are serious about Maori education have gone so far as to provide customary Maori buildings, such as the marae, which is not only the focus of the whanau, but learning and education. Plus some institutions provide a”Manaakitanga” programme designed to support students’ success in their studies.

Non-Negotiable Questions to Ask Your Local Family Law Lawyers

  • Posted on March 31, 2017 at 2:37 pm

You probably have lots of questions to ask about the divorce process and local family law lawyers are who you should be asking. Going through a divorce is an emotionally challenging time. It is important to ask all questions, however, so you can get peace of mind and move on with your life. The answers are essential for you to decide how you want to handle your case. It is your life, so if there is ever any part of it you don’t understand you have to speak up. Here are three crucial questions you should definitely ask before you hire anyone.

1. How Much Is The Divorce Going To Cost?

Finances are a huge part of the divorce process so it is a perfectly valid and significant question to ask. It is likely that you will be charged a retainer for a set number of hours and then hourly when that budget is exhausted. In order to be able to budget properly, and manage your stress, you should ask directly about costs and what you can expect to pay. It might also be an incentive for you and your spouse to reach settlement faster.

2. So, How Long Is It Going To Take?

If you are paying hourly or monthly, finding out how long the case will take to resolve is important. There will be a number of factors that influence the length of your case, like how many children you have, the number or value of your properties and how agreeable you and your spouse are when it comes to settling on terms. It is possible for a divorce to be concluded in a few months if both spouses can agree. If there are disagreements then it could go on for over a year, so it is in your best interests to handle it as amicably as possible.

3. What Steps Are Involved in Finalizing a Divorce?

An experienced lawyer can help you navigate through all the processes required to conclude your divorce. They will take care of filing your petition, dividing your property and handling your child custody requirements. Your family lawyer will get in touch with you whenever there is an update to tell you about, such as notifying you of a dispute or your spouse’s agreement. He or she will ensure that all assets and property, like your investments, insurance policies, real estate, 401s and bank accounts are divided in terms of your agreement.

How You Can Organize The Kitchen Area

  • Posted on March 31, 2017 at 10:09 am

One of the parts of the home that are most prone to clutter is the kitchen. If you have a rather small house or apartment where many things appear to be kept there, you might have a very big problem. However all problems have a solution, including the country’s messiest room. Just adhere to the suggestions below and observe the transformation.

1. Make great use of vertical space
If your kitchen area is quite confined, do not look down at the ground area and wish it could possibly become bigger. Instead, look up. You see those walls? Those are excellent locations to keep things and hold objects. Go rush to the nearby diy store and mount a number of wall mount organizers that will allow you to keep things like mugs, utensils, pots and pans, containers, and a couple of additional items on it. Simply make sure they’re tough, dependable, and quite useful.

2. Analyze what’s within your cabinets
Cabinets are important structures in a cooking area. They are where you keep a number of items, particularly the things you would like to keep out of plain sight. And mostly as a result of that, many people are guilty of tossing items into the kitchen cabinets or drawers and then forgetting about them for a very long time. Organize your kitchen by clearing out the cabinets and keeping like things with each other. Set up additional dividers into each of them to make best use of area.

3. Group appliances and tools according to functions
Put food preparation utensils and home appliances with each other in one corner of the kitchen. All cleaning instruments, on the other hand, need to be placed in another corner. Each thing used for food preparation ought to be put on the countertop or someplace near it. When it comes to your cleaning instruments, it is best that you install a mop and broom holder in a more discreet location so you can quickly grab them when the need arises.

4. Designate a space for everything
Make sure that even the tiniest item kept in the kitchen area has its own spot. This way, you’ll know where it is when you need it. Kitchens become jumbled because there seems to be too many items in it and too many things that are going on it at the same time. So as soon as you’re done cooking food, prepping, or whatever it is that you’re doing, place things back in their proper locations– and do not miss anything.

5. Set a general cleaning day
The kitchen area is the area of your home that has to be kept tidy at all times. A once-a-month all-around cleaning and re-organizing will suffice. An “all-around” cleaning must encompass everything. Clear the fridge of leftovers. Wash the sink. Scrub the walls and floor to glossy flawlessness. Arrange cabinet food, etc to a tee. All these and more you should do on a specified day each month.

The Creation Science Curriculum Evolution or Intelligent Design

The Creation Science Curriculum: Evolution or Intelligent Design?

In 1859, Charles Darwin published his revolutionary work, On the Origin of the Species. In it he proposed that life as we know it evolved over a great length of time by a haphazard, fully natural process called natural selection. Now, over 150 years later, Darwins legacy dominates biology; yet his ideas are not unopposed, and the opposition has never been stronger. Since the beginning, religious people have rejected evolution in favor of creationism: the idea that God created life. And now, in the last 20 years, the Intelligent Design movement has created a powerful non-religious case for opposing evolution. Are the critics of evolution just religious zealots, incapable of being rational or scientific? Or was Darwin right?

Its more than just an intellectual debate. Whether or not life was a mere accident has a huge impact on law, culture, ethics, and every imaginable aspect of life. The question is whether human beings are image-bearers of God that deserve respect, or just glorified monkeys that are only valuable to the extent that they contribute to society;and the answer could not be more important for the future of the human race. But is there even a question about which side is right when all respectable scientists seem to accept evolution? Actually, the tide is turning. More and more scientists are realizing that evolution does not offer all the answers. But in schools and the media, no critics of evolution are allowed any hearing. Are the nations young people condemned evolutionary indoctrination?

Educate For Life is a non-profit organization dedicated to Christian apologetics training for high school-aged youths, so that they can be confident in the truth of their faith. One area that we specialize in is intelligent design education. Our creation science curriculum uses solid evidence to show students that life has Gods fingerprints all over it, and that no unintelligent process could possibly account for it. We are also newly offering a worldview curriculum that examines the evidence for various world religions.View our apologetics course offerings today at www.educateforlife.org, and counter indoctrination with truth.

Importance Of Science Lab Equipments For Education

  • Posted on March 30, 2017 at 4:51 pm

Science stands out distinctively from other subjects because of its nature of validating things through experiments. It is through scientific instruments or equipments that experiments and observations are carried out. Scientific instruments are set of tools, kits, apparatus and devices which are designed for certain purposes. These instruments include devices like microscope, Bunsen burner, test tube, thermometer, beaker, etc. They are used in various fields such as, medical, production, educational and research.

Science lab equipments are those equipments used for bearing and dealing chemicals. These devices are important for scientific purpose as they help in carrying out experiments safe and successful. Tools like test tube holder, weighing machine, test tube stand, compass, flask, funnel, etc. are some of the examples.

Importance of Educational science lab equipments

Educational laboratory equipments offer students the opportunity of learning science through hands-on experiences and enhancing their learning and thinking skills. These equipments will help the students to be more competitive and help achieve their goals through higher level of education and thinking order.

Schools that are well equipped with scientific lab instruments will give the students greater opportunities for learning. For instance, students can learn with practical experiments in the school laboratories about the scientific methods such as collecting data, experimenting and testing hypothesis. Making available with real lab equipments will make the students more enthusiastic and appreciative towards science and its findings.

Laboratory scientific instruments make the environment of interactive learning possible. Science is a discipline where conventional classroom teaching is not enough and it becomes effective only when teachings are accompanied by creating experiments and deducing conclusions from the experiments. Instead of just listening to lectures, reading text books and writing notes, the students will participate in the learning process by applying their critical thought.

According to surveys, providing a good lab facility with necessary lab equipments also make the teachers contribute better supports for their students. If the teachers are well supplied with sufficient equipments, it will enable them to effectively convey their teachings through hands-on experiments. Instead of just demonstrating, the student will be allowed to have the opportunity of conducting and deriving proofs through practical experiments. With teacher’s greater contribution and better supervision, the learning environment becomes an ideal workshop for creating better students with better results.

In order to provide the requirements of schools and institutions, many science lab equipments manufacturers are working hard to provide them with advanced and efficient equipments. Naugra is a scientific instrument manufacturers among others, which provides outstanding solutions for educational sector worldwide.
